Me2everyone - The Swan

This is the latest update from me2everyone. They are comparing the company to a swan because, although it looks like nothing is happening on the outside, people are working hard behind the scenes.

THE SWAN

A few people are worried that we've promised the BETA version, but nothing has happened. Well, once upon a time a lady called Jenny Butler said:

"The company is like a swan. All graceful a serene on the surface, but paddling like mad underneath"

EMAIL SERVER

We decided that the most important aspect was to fix errors and improve the background admin first. Then, when we introduce the new features they are going to work so much better. To give you a better example, yesterday we bought another server - one dedicated to sending bulk emails to our members. It's being configured now and once live, we will be able to email a newsletter to every member once a week.

IMPROVED SUPPORT

We have also decided to improve the customer care feature by creating a Ticket-based system. This means that anyone with the right admin clearance can read the problem history and answer accordingly. Expect this in a few weeks.

CODING QUALITY

We are retaining a few web-based experts in the realms of PHP programming and website security. This will give us a new UK-based quality control procedure, ensuring that any code is cleaned up before it’s published. This reduces errors and problems down the line.

To recap - although you cannot see many changes on the surface of the web page, there is a lot of work being done in the background. Things will start to change soon...
